I've never tried that, but it sounds very difficult. Overblowing
requires a really tight reed chamber, and chromatics tend to be very
leaky due to the mechanisms (hence the use of valves by default). And
since you can already get all the notes on a chromatic, what would be
the motivation to play an overblow? It is essentially a single-reed bend
since the primary reed is choked, so the tone isn't going to be any
better (and likely worse) than a valved bend.
